This overview shows the new registrations of motor caravans and caravans in Germany.
June: Mixed Picture for New Registrations
The caravan segment recorded a significant increase in new registrations in June for the first time in quite some time. With 2,371 newly registered caravans, the June total was more than 30% higher than in the same month last year. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 11,156 caravans have been newly registered, representing a slight decline of 2.2% compared with the same period last year.
By contrast, the motor caravan segment was unable to match the strong June performance recorded in the previous year. With 6,900 new registrations, the segment was around 12% below the June 2025 figure. Nevertheless, a total of 43,853 motor caravans were newly registered during the first half of the year, leaving registrations just under 1% below the high level achieved in the corresponding period last year.
