This overview shows the new registrations of motor caravans and caravans in Germany.
August: New registrations below previous year’s level
New registrations of both caravans and motor caravans were below the previous year’s level in August.
In the caravan segment, 1,141 vehicles were newly registered in August, fewer than in the same month last year. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 14,352 caravans have been newly registered. This represents a decline of 3.7 per cent compared with the same period last year.
The motor caravan segment also recorded a decline in August, with 4,287 new registrations, down 22.3 per cent compared with the same month last year. From January to August, a total of 54,405 motor caravans were newly registered. This was 5.1 per cent fewer than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
