In these workshops, the system of liability for material defects, guarantees and current cases is explained with a great deal of industry knowledge and practical know-how.

The range of workshops is constantly being expanded and updated. The CIVD endeavours to include further industry-relevant topics in the practice-related workshops. The European Basic Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), which came into force at the end of May 2018, posed enormous legal challenges for practice in the caravanning sector. This very complex topic was also highlighted in a workshop specially organised for CIVD members.

New in the CIVD seminar offer is the beginner’s workshop “CIVD legal seminar for beginners in the caravanning industry”, which imparts basic legal knowledge in the areas of contract design, warranty, guarantee and product liability. This is aimed at those who have never attended a CIVD legal workshop before or simply want to refresh their knowledge.
