This overview shows the new registrations of motor caravans and caravans in Germany.
March: New registrations show a significant increase
At the start of spring, both the motor caravan and caravan segments recorded positive new registration figures: Motor caravan registrations reached 9,140 units in March, around 10 per cent above the level recorded in the same month last year. Caravan registrations also exceeded the previous year’s March figure, rising by almost 17 per cent to 2,662 units.
Overall, the motor caravan segment recorded a strong increase in the first quarter, with a total of 21,803 new registrations – up more than 29 per cent compared to the same period last year. In contrast, caravan registrations between January and March totalled 4,623 units, slightly below the previous year’s level by around 2.5 per cent.
