This overview shows the new registrations of motor caravans and caravans in Germany.

First quarter: New motor caravan registrations up, caravan segment below previous year's level

The German caravanning industry can look back on a good start to the year. Between January and March, a total of 24,835 leisure vehicles were newly registered in Germany, which corresponds to an increase of around 4.5 per cent compared to the same period last year.

With 19,805 new registrations (+7.2 per cent), the motor caravan segment achieved a new record for the first quarter of the year. In the same period, 5,030 new caravans were registered, which corresponds to a drop of 4.9 per cent compared to the previous year.
