Impact on the CARAVAN SALON

Here you will find information on the leading trade fair for the caravanning industry in the times of the Corona Crisis

On 15 April 2020, the Federal Government and the Federal States decided to ban all major events until the end of August due to the corona pandemic. This directly affects the CARAVAN SALON 2020, which was to start August 28th.
Messe Düsseldorf, together with the CIVD executive board, has decided to postpone the start of the fair by one week. The Press and Trade Visitor Day will, thus, take place on September 4th. The CARAVAN SALON will open its doors to the public from September 5th until 13th.

The decision is based on the current state of information and can be adapted due to the dynamics and unpredictability of the corona pandemic as well as the measures taken by the federal and state governments to combat it.

At the same time, the protection of the health of visitors, as well as that of all exhibitors and employees, is a top priority when organising the trade fair. Appropriate precautions will be developed and implemented in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf.

The CARAVAN SALON is not only the world’s largest public trade show for leisure vehicles and accessories, but also the most important B2B event for the caravanning industry. Caravanning has enjoyed enormous popularity for years, which, as we are currently seeing, is becoming more and more firmly established, especially in these times. It is thus all the more important to offer all exhibitors a professional presentation platform for their innovations, products and services at the CARAVAN SALON.
