The caravaning industry is growing - and so is the demand for skilled workers. The new recruiting website SonnigeKarriere.de bundles open positions in the industry.

The caravanning industry has been growing continuously for years and is looking for skilled workers, trainees and career changers, especially with technical skills. On the career website SonnigeKarriere.de open places are offered.
Caravanning is popular in Germany like never before. With over 71,000 newly registered leisure vehicles (plus 12.5 per cent) a new best value was reached in the past year. Holidays with motor caravans and caravans are also very popular in the rest of Europe, which is why vehicle exports increased by over 7 percent in 2018. Accordingly, sales in the caravanning sector climbed by over 9 percent to over 11 billion euros for the first time. In order to meet the high demand for high-quality leisure vehicles “Made in Germany” in the future, many of the approximately 70 German industrial companies in the sector are increasing their production capacities. To this end, they are investing in the expansion of their production facilities and creating numerous jobs in the process.

Opportunities and prospects also for lateral entrants

We are particularly looking for skilled workers and trainees with manual and technical skills. But the companies also offer career changers interesting prospects through further training opportunities.
